Gia Woods is a Los Angeles–born, first-generation Persian-American lesbian artist crafting a fearless vision of pop that blends dance-floor energy, rock attitude, and deeply personal storytelling. Her music draws from the experience of growing up queer in LA within a traditional Persian household, moving fluidly between euphoric anthems and intimate confessionals.
She first captured global attention by coming out publicly through her viral music video “Only A Girl,” a bold cultural moment that established her as a defining voice for a new generation of LGBTQ+ artists. Since then, her emotionally charged songwriting and striking visual aesthetic have earned over 150 million streams and praise from Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Paper Magazine.
